Hair Stylist Pay: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour Hours: Part-time About the role A senior position at The Vintage Avenue, an award-winning salon in Biggleswade. This part-time role offers the security of employment with the freedom and flexibility usually associated with self-employment. You will build a long-term career here without sacrificing your home life. The role is not micro-managed. You will be trusted to work to a high standard and to uphold the salon's reputation through your own initiative. Requirements
- Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling, tailored to your strengths.
- Consult with clients and offer expert guidance on hair care and styling products.
- Handle client calls, enquiries, and bookings.
- Keep your workspace clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support front-of-house operations including appointment scheduling and client communication.
- Work to salon procedures with the confidence to use your own initiative.
- Proven experience as a hair stylist with a strong portfolio of your work.
- Excellent client care and the ability to build genuine rapport.
